What is OSPath?

OSPath is a short form to Open Source Path. Because I believe in the power of open source, collaboration, and communities, the OSPath name reflects my directions in open source software development as well deployment network services using the Linux.

Who am i?

My name is Wanderson Reis and I'm a full time brazilian government employee at Education industry. In my free time, I work as a freelancer with Drupal Development and Linux System Management. In a matter of fact, I work daily with Drupal sites and Linux Servers. In my own practice, free and open source software aid me in the managing and operations of network at my job and in my personal projects.

The open source software flexibility enables me to mobilize a diverse range of features and accumulated skills by each colaborative community and join to my own experience gained over the work years, in order to address my clients' specific needs and their concerns. In this way a professional and your customization services make the difference.

In formal education I have degree in Software Development (Federal Center for Technological Education of Bambuí in 2006) and I obtained a postgraduate diploma in Linux Network Management (Federal University of Lavras in 2009).

My strongest points are expertise and experience in PHP Web Development including Drupal and Linux Systems Administration. I am able to do some theming, but that is my weakest area. I am not a web designer, but I have experience with theme customization using CSS, (X)HTML and javascript. I am working in this industry for more than 6 years. I am passionate about work with Drupal and Linux. I really enjoy looking for solutions to the troubles that come out. See my portfolio page for examples of recent work.

My Drupal modules:

  • Correios Quotes (author): Shipping quotes from Correios (Brazilian Postal Service) for Ubercart contrib module.
  • Pagamento Digital (author): Integrates the Pagamento Digital, a brazilian payment gateway to Ubercart contrib module.
  • Brazilian IDs (co-maintainer): CCK fields for Brazilian ID numbers: CPF and CNPJ.
